Studies I Love
Echoing His Heartbeat: The Life of David
My Sunday class and I began this lesson around November of 2015. My teacher chose this book with hopes that we would grow with David in this study, and we definitely did. I learned so much, and I achieved a new perspective on God's just judgments and forgiving nature. I grew with David, I went with him through the lowest and the highest points in his life, and I was there when Solomon became king. This was by far one of the greatest studies I have or ever will have. The way this study is conducted and written really engaged me every step of the way, and leaves room for discussion. Whether you want to do this alone or as a group, I guarantee you will enjoy this book. Cassandra had written numerous books similar to this style, and I intend to study as many as I can. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Redeemed: Bought Back No Matter the Cost: a Study of Hosea
This was a study that I did as my personal Bible time. I did one lesson a day, and as there were thirteen lessons, it took just under two weeks. I never wanted this study to end. As I am still a fairly new Christian, I had never had the opportunity to study Hosea as deeply as I would have liked. This book helped me as I went through Hosea to understand certain verses and make connections to several other books of the Bible. Kristy's writing style and ability to help you apply the lesson to yourself is enlightening. Hosea was a man of great faith and obedience, and his willingness to take on God's profound challenges, such as marrying a harlot, was without hesitation. If you wish to understand God's character towards those who obey Him and those who do not, then you will love this book. I love these Finer Grounds studies, and I am already in the process of studying another one. Stick around for that study review!
